Emergency Relief Fund
MAKE NO MISTAKE: Milwaukee Rep has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Although many have graciously donated their tickets from this past season, the needs of the organization remain significant. We have already realized $1.5 million in lost revenue and we are projecting an additional $6 million loss in ticket revenue this coming year as we factor in social distancing and limited capacities when we reopen in December.
We kept our full-time and seasonal employees on payroll since March utilizing reserves, our PPP loan and your generous support. However, we have held out as long as we could and maintaining our full workforce going forward is simply not possible. We’ve been forced to eliminate and furlough nearly half of the company. For those that remain, all are working on reduced salary and benefits.
Revenue from our Reset Pass sales will only provide a small portion of what is needed. Please consider making a donation to our Rep Rising Campaign to help sustain our artists, staff and facilities so that we can rise to this enormous challenge. Hundreds of artists and staff call Milwaukee Rep home, so please help preserve the theater you know and love. All new and increased gifts will be matched dollar for dollar up to $500,000 by our Board of Trustees!
